This is my first slow cooker. We have used it 5 times, and so far so good. I have used it to make pulled pork, ribs, and keep meatballs warm. I don't have the counter space to keep it on the counter, but it is quite stylish and I don't mind looking at it when it's in use.

I, too, have a problem with the unsteadiness of this unit. The rubber feet fell off one at a time....one is lost for good, so of course none can be used now. Even without the rubber feet the unit does not sit securely on the countertop.....rather than having 4 touchpoints, there are only three. I have tipped it a couple of times....not right over, but enough to scare myself.
It's a lovely slow cooker, the crock insert is beautiful, and the price is amazing for such a huge slow cooker, but I can't recommend it due to its unsteadiness.

I am a first time user, and I can honestly say I loved the performance and the results with my two time use.
But … I thought I was buying a 7.3 liter cooker as advertised, however, when I got it home I realized it was only 6.5 liters . I don’t know if it comes in more than one size, but I went for a 7.3 and got a 6.5. That was the only thing they had put out.
I also noted, after careful scrutiny, that the metal bottom of the outside casing is not even, and it is not the feet underneath or the countertop. . I believe it was molded that way. It is tilted to the left such that the right side always has a higher level of fluid, and I have to put something under the foot to even it out. That makes me wonder about the safety, if the bottom might not fall off one day when I am at work and start a fire. I can’t take it back for exchange, because it is difficult for me to do.
Apart from that I really did love the performance and the results, as stated above.
P.S. I would recommend it along with the explanations above.
