The BEST Economic Choice For Your Cat

I have sold "boutique brand" food for over a decade and this brand of food adheres to every rule I have ever followed in guiding pet owners to a healthy food choice. With the absence of corn and fillers, the presence of healthy grains and extracts, probiotics, and a very attractive price point- this food is an excellent choice for your pet. My cats have never consumed anything less than boutique brand food in over 6 years and I now feed them both on this brand of food. Even some "vet brand" foods do not meet the nutritional standards of this product.
One note-- if your pet is on a "vet brand" due to digestive/medical issues it is absolutely imperative to consult with your vet before switching to ANY non-vet brand product.
If your pet has no special vet-treated issues, then this brand of food would be a healthy, smart choice.

I love the PC brand pet food. It is nice to be able to meet most of nutritional requirments that my cats have and not need to go to a specialty store and pay twice as much. It was also very shocking to see that I could provide my cat with a healthier diet from a grocery store isle instead of from my vet (and for almost half the price I might add). With cats being "Obligate Carnivoires" it is so important for cat owners to understand how specific their nutritional requirements are. They need a high protein/high fat diet. Cats were designed to eat meat and just meat. Cats just cannot digest and process the carbs found in cat foods! and to see real meat, not a by-product, as a first ingredient is wonderful. The shine on my cats coats is amazing I have two brown tabbies that actually glisten their coats are so healthy.
My only complaints of this product is the size of the morsels and the moisture content. My adult cats do not even have to chew most of the time and just swallow them whole. This has proven bad for one of my cats who usually gets sick right after eating because the food in her stomach is too hard for her to break down because of its size. If the morsels were large enough for a cat to have to chew it I think it would be much more benificial in more ways than one. First, you don't have to worry about large chunks in their stomachs. Second, it is the cruncing of their food that helps with tater build up and if they are not crunching they cannot help with this. Thirdly, cats will be less likely to over eat bacause they cannot rush through a meal if they have to take the time to chew. Also, it would be nice if the moisture content was a little higher. Cats fed dry food diets need as much moisture as possible. It would be nice if the morsels could be a little spongy (like a well known brand of dog food that you can squeeze the chunks and they flex and bend), this would also be an additional benefit for tarter control because as they chewed, their teeth would sink into the food bringing the food closer to the teeth for cleaning. If it were not for the problem of morsel size and moisture, I would have given this produce a perfect 5/5.
I have had to switch from PC cat food to food from my vet because of digestability problems(food that was made the size of small gumballs or marbles) but, after a few moths of watching all four of my cats condition go downhill I switched back.
I also volunteer with a local animal rescue and, I urge everyone I speak with prior to an adoption to use the PC cat food and, I explain how the cats nutritional requirements are being met by this product. People are amazed that for just a few dollars more than the "McDonalds" of cat food they can have a fantastic quality cat food product.
Thank you for keeping my cats healthy

My cat does like this cat food. And I like it because the first ingredient is not corn meal. (which cats can't digest).
And I avoid wheat gluten like the plague since the China/Melamine in pet foods.
This is a great product, but a little pricey. It has gone up over $2 in price in less than 2 years.

Both my cats love this food. I love the fact that it is a healthy food that isn't full of corn and it's affordable. It is also in a nice resealable package. I would definitely recommend this food for your kitty.

I've read a lot about what to look for in a cat food and grocery store offerings always fall way short - until now. Frankly, I was amazed to read the list of ingredients and see the high quality healthy stuff I was used to only seeing in expensive pet store brands.
Here's what I see is good about PC Nutrition First. First two ingredients (Salmon & Salmon Meal) are high quality animal protein from named sources (not "by-products" which can contain diseased parts from abbatoirs). Next, brown rice, which is the best type of grain to use in a pet food - most non-allergenic. Further on, we have a nice list of natural fruits, vegetables, and herbs which shows PC is not only relying only on artificial vitamins and minerals (which may be less absorbable) to provide all the micronutrients of a healthy diet. There are even probiotics! This is seriously good stuff and quite impressive. The only grocery store brand I buy.

I love that PC Nutrition First cat food doesn't contain any fillers, or poor quality grains like corn. Salmon, brown rice and fruits and veggies are the main ingredients. No artificial anything! Other cat foods pale in comparison. I love this product and so does my cat!

my cat was getting sick frequently so i did some research on line. too many pet foods are filled with fillers, fat, tumors, etc. and it makes pets sick. i started buying Nutrition First and for the first time in over a year she has not thrown up since she switched to this brand for the last 3 months. It's not that much more expensive and her love and health is worth it!
