This is my absolute favourite ketchup...all the best are inferior!!! The only drawback, in my opinion, is the labelling. I much preferred the old label.

I have always been faithful to Heinz and never dared to buy any other brands. Any that I did try when we were at friends homes were horrible! Then one day I tried PC Ketchup. It is just as good, if not better than Heinz and the price is awesome!! I do still tend to buy Heinz (out of habit) when it is on sale but if its not I don't hesitate to buy PC!!!

It taste the same as heinz ketchup,I cant tell the difference. My13 year old son wound't eat pc brand tomato ketchup because he has to have Heinz products only -so I switched the bottle,watched him consume the pc ketchup with his potato fries and then ask him again If he would eat pc ketchup, he said no. I hate it. I told him what I had done, He eats pc ketchup now and likes it and believes that he would have never tryed it if I had never switched it.

I know that is almost sacreligious in some circles, but yes, it is even better than that other famous brand! We LOVE ketchup and we especially LOVE President's Choice ketchup!

The Ketchup bottle seems to make its way to the table for each meal and so it is nice to be be able to purchase a quality item at a low price and not compromise on taste.

I don't think any of us can taste the difference between this ketchup and Heinz, but it's always a better buy.

I used to think that Heinz ketchup was the only one for me, until I did a side by side taste test in the grocery store. The PC ketchup was soooo much better! This is what ketchup should taste like.

A family member recommended this to me years ago, saying it was a great deal. We haven't used any other kind since. Tastes great, consistency is perfect and you can't beat the price!

I used to be a committed Heinz user until I decided to try the PC Ketchup. The taste was great and I saved over a dollar a bottle. I recommend this to all my friends.

I've never bought a bottle of ketchup I didn't like...except this one.
At first I thought it was kind of interesting, slightly different.
After a few minutes I just tossed out the rest of my dinner. Something in there is too overpowering... is it cloves maybe?? It's all you can taste after a few mouthfuls.
It's too pungent.

Booooo. I don't like the new flavour at all. I used to go out of my way just to buy PC Ketchup and I'm really disapointed that they changed the taste. Will not be buying it again unless they go back to the original.

When I squeezed the "new taste" PC Ketchup out of the bottle, it came out in a watery torrent.
The thin, liquidy blob on my plate was only the beginning.
The flavour was excruciatingly sweet, like it was tomato syrup, rather than ketchup. I know ketchup is supposed to be sweet, but this stuff is ridiculous.
I had an old bottle of PC Ketchup in the back of the fridge, so I pulled it out and did a taste test.
The old formula was heartier and much less sweet tasting. It was also thicker, and had a deeper red colour.
In short, the old recipe was great, the new stuff is an abysmal failure. I won't buy it again.

I was reminded of the 80's when coke thought to change their flavour - BAD IDEA. My father stopped drinking coke and never returned. I feel the same about this ketchup. About 13 years ago I switched to PC Ketchup because of price at first. Now I am switching back to Heinz for taste. In a world where a cell phone, computer or music device is obsolete in a year, change is rapid and often overwhelming, I feel we rely on our old favourites more and more for stability and comfort, too bad they didn't have the same faithful attachment to us.

OK, how can you mess up ketchup? But they did -- it now has some odd new twist to it that I can't quite put my finger on. My daughter thinks they increased one of the spices (cinnamon, maybe? who knew ketchup had cinnamon?). The bottom line is that it doesn't taste like good ol' ketchup anymore, and I'm looking for a new brand. If PC wanted to experiment they could bring out a line of new ketchup flavors, but the old standby should stay pretty straightforward. (This somehow reminds me of the "add balsamic vinegar to everything" trend PC was into in the 1990's.)

They have recently changed the formula of the ketchup, and I am VERY disapointed. As a ketchup lover, the PC was my absolute favourite. The new one I don't feel strongly about at all. I am quite upset, really. For Heinz lovers, though, this ketchup now tastes more like Heinz, so try this one out because it is a better value!
