I used to be a committed Heinz user until I decided to try the PC Ketchup. The taste was great and I saved over a dollar a bottle. I recommend this to all my friends.

I've never bought a bottle of ketchup I didn't like...except this one.
At first I thought it was kind of interesting, slightly different.
After a few minutes I just tossed out the rest of my dinner. Something in there is too overpowering... is it cloves maybe?? It's all you can taste after a few mouthfuls.
It's too pungent.

Booooo. I don't like the new flavour at all. I used to go out of my way just to buy PC Ketchup and I'm really disapointed that they changed the taste. Will not be buying it again unless they go back to the original.

When I squeezed the "new taste" PC Ketchup out of the bottle, it came out in a watery torrent.
The thin, liquidy blob on my plate was only the beginning.
The flavour was excruciatingly sweet, like it was tomato syrup, rather than ketchup. I know ketchup is supposed to be sweet, but this stuff is ridiculous.
I had an old bottle of PC Ketchup in the back of the fridge, so I pulled it out and did a taste test.
The old formula was heartier and much less sweet tasting. It was also thicker, and had a deeper red colour.
In short, the old recipe was great, the new stuff is an abysmal failure. I won't buy it again.

I was reminded of the 80's when coke thought to change their flavour - BAD IDEA. My father stopped drinking coke and never returned. I feel the same about this ketchup. About 13 years ago I switched to PC Ketchup because of price at first. Now I am switching back to Heinz for taste. In a world where a cell phone, computer or music device is obsolete in a year, change is rapid and often overwhelming, I feel we rely on our old favourites more and more for stability and comfort, too bad they didn't have the same faithful attachment to us.

OK, how can you mess up ketchup? But they did -- it now has some odd new twist to it that I can't quite put my finger on. My daughter thinks they increased one of the spices (cinnamon, maybe? who knew ketchup had cinnamon?). The bottom line is that it doesn't taste like good ol' ketchup anymore, and I'm looking for a new brand. If PC wanted to experiment they could bring out a line of new ketchup flavors, but the old standby should stay pretty straightforward. (This somehow reminds me of the "add balsamic vinegar to everything" trend PC was into in the 1990's.)

They have recently changed the formula of the ketchup, and I am VERY disapointed. As a ketchup lover, the PC was my absolute favourite. The new one I don't feel strongly about at all. I am quite upset, really. For Heinz lovers, though, this ketchup now tastes more like Heinz, so try this one out because it is a better value!

This is the best ketchup ever!
The most freshest tasting ketchup my family and have ever had.
Bursting with flavor, lively.
The only ketchup where you can actually taste the freshness of the tomatoes used in the product.
